KiCAD Windows 7 - download and Install TUTORIAL
This tutorial is intended for beginners in printed circuit board design who wish to design a Schematics using the free KiCAD Schematics Capture Tool.How to downlod and install Kicad on Windows
1. Go to the following page
http://www.kicad-pcb.org/display/KICAD/Download+Kicad
Click on the Windows logo ( They could have made it more simple , e.g. a text link in addition to the Image, which is not intuitively clear).
Now click on the .exe program that says
KiCad-2012-01-19-BZR3256-stable-Win_full_with_components_doc_install.exe
It is about 150 Mega Byte of dowload, that will typically take 10 minutes on a broadband to download
